Learn how to start building your skills and confidence in the kitchen and take advantage of beautiful fresh food. If you consider yourself a novice, or have recently completed the Knife Skills class and are ready to start cooking, then this is the class for you. We'll focus on some of the most important fundamental techniques of cooking, including making vinaigrettes and great salads, how to properly roast, cooking with water (boiling, steaming, simmering and their differences) and how to understand that oven! Menu will vary based on ingredients at the Farmer's Market but will likely include something like Arugula and Tangerine Salad ※ Roasted Herb Chicken ※ Braised Cranberry Beans with Candied Lemon and Thyme ※ Baked Pears with Port Wine Caramel and Stilton.
